To top all this off I was treated this way while being attacked by a bad ordeal of Vertigo that every so often strikes me down, thus, the reason why my Mother and stepfather were involved.
Oh BTW, the movers had been there before us and had picked up their ramps and tools that they hadn't had room for. When I called Taylor and questioned him about the vacuums and and the coins he immediately got defensive and swore they had no idea what I was talking about. I knew that no one had been to the house except the movers and us. But, just for the sake of being sure I waited (even though I knew better) til we got everything unpacked at the new location. I then contacted Mr Woody again via email. He still swore that he personally saw the coins packed up.That they had never had any s thing missing or stolen in all the years they had been in business, etc. Even had the nerve to say that maybe my neighbors were the ones who found a key that I had hidden and took the stuff. I've known these neighbors for 5 years and know without a shadow of a doubt that they would never do such a thing! Can you believe the nerve of this guy?
A few days go by and my mother, stepfather and I go back to the old location(old home) to clean up and load up the remaining stuff that the professionals, that I tipped, had left! Well, no cleaning would be done because because all my vacuums (3)were gone along with a old filled electric radiator heater, and two antique pickle jars full of coins. This was 25 years of loose change that I just threw in the jars. I estimated easily $500.00 dollars in coins.
My wife and I had to move from Western NC to Eastern NC and were stressing out over the need to move rather suddenly. Taylor reassured us all would be well. Well, all started well but did not end so well. I asked that some items(vacuums, brooms, and cleaners, etc.)be left in a closet so that I could come back after the movers were done to clean up for the new owners. My Mother, stepfather and I went to the house just hours after the movers left for Eastern NC just to see what it looked like. Now, this was not when I planned to clean up. That was going to be almost a week later. They did just as I asked and left the items I requested, plus a good pick up-truck load of misc. items that I could not understand why they would leave. They also left some of their tools and a loading ramp inside my home. Remember they have a key. Anyway, we leave for Eastern NC. When I arrived with my family at the Eastern NC location the movers were still there unloading so I asked the supervisor why they had left some stuff that I didn't request them to leave. He immediately told me they just ran out of room. Well, excuse me, I thought you guys were the professionals? He proceeds to let me know that they will go back to the old home and get the tools and ramps. Anyway, the movers finish up at the new location and because I felt that they worked really hard. I felt sorry for them (even though I still had to make arrangements to move the remaining items at my old home) so I tipped them.
If you use this moving co. you will have stuff disappear! Taylor was very professional when I met him as he walked through my home to give me a quote. His quote was very reasonable he had all the proper credentials and license's so I gave him the job.
I noticed that all the positive reviews on In and Out moving co. website and on google reviews are from businesses. It seems that Mr. Woody really prefers commercial acct s. If your looking someone to move your home, then look somewhere else. You will regret you got this Co.
